On Friday and Saturday 23rd and 24th October, people from across the region joined in the celebrations to mark 100 years of the Miners’ Hall, Redhills Durham.

Friday saw an open day which included an exhibition exploring the long and illustrious history of the Durham Miners’ Association.

The celebrations continued on Saturday with marvellous performances by the Durham Miners’ Association Brass Band, the Cotia Folk singers and Bethany Elen Coyle.

The DMA would like to thank everyone who took part and made it such a special occasion.
