This year's service dedicated to the memory of Thomas Hepburn, the founder of the Northumberland & Durham Pitmen's Union will take place on Saturday 1 October in St Mary's Church Heworth, Gateshead commencing at 11am.
The speaker is Tosh McDonald, President of ASLEF. After the service, music, entertainment & refreshments will be at Usworth Top Club, Manor Road, Washington, NE37 3BD.
